So today I would like to write my personal review on this item called Aloe Vera Gel by the Guardian. Before you read any further,you need to know that OILY TYPE OF SKIN DOES NOT SUITS WITH CREAM TYPE MOISTURIZER. The skin on our face is much more delicate than other skin on our body,especially the skin near your eyes. Oily skin suits best with gel type moisturizer because the gel type ones doesn't contain too much oil like the cream type ones.
This product retails for about RM9(200ml). Guardian also sells the smaller version of it which is 100ml for about RM5. As you can see from the picture above,it claims that it is free from alcohol,colourant and fragrance. It also claims that it could soothes and relieves sunburn. This is probably one of my favourite product for the December 2014 because it works like magic. I used to have tons of acne scars on forehead and since I've been using this gel,my scars are starting to fade away. Well not dramatically fade but you'll see the result after few months or weeks using it.
It's in a tube where you just need to squeeze some of it out and you're good to go. I'm not a big fan of moisturizer that is in a container especially the glass ones because I tend to break things unintentionally and I just wasted my money on buying something that I can even use again cause I just broke the container. So the tube-squeeze types are the best for me. It's convenient from the packaging side.
Some people are very picky about the after-feeling. You know the sticky icky feelings that you get right after you applied the moisturizer and I hate it. Fortunately,this gel doesn't leave that sticky feeling at all. It absorbs really fast into my skin and right after it absorbs completely,it leaves a matte finish feeling. You can feel how soft your skin afterwards. It also contains Vitamin E to help hydrates the skin and it's packed with anti-oxidant. We need the anti-oxidant to fight the free-radicals.
